We have created this site with the idea of sharing our family news, history, keeping track of our roots, and sharing photos and movies for today and future generations. Hopefully, family members will share their reactions and views of contemporary local, national and world events not to promote a particular agenda but rather to give a first hand account of what is happening in our world and how it affects our daily lives in the early years of the 21st century. Reflections on the events of the latter 20th century would be helpful for our grandchildren in the years to come.
The idea for this type of family site was somewhat inspired by Grandpa Basil B. Fees's letters to his mother in 1917 and 1918 during World War I. Reading those letters (soon to be posted on this site) gave me a glimpse inside his person. Even though we spent time together while he was alive I never knew him as one adult knows another. However, he shares so much of himself in those letters one can actually get to know him long after his death.
Many of us write quite a lot still today via email or Blogs, but most of us don't actually share ourselves or our experiences. This is your chance. Share your memories, stories, reflections and experiences right here.
